Dear Members and Prospective Members:
This membership directory of the Hispanic Bar Association ("HISBA") profiles the attorneys that comprise our diverse membership. Since its inception in 1987, HISBA was envisioned to be an inclusive organization that would encourage individuals of every race, ethnic origin, sex and religion to become members. HISBA has implemented programs benefiting both the legal profession and the Hispanic Community. Our programs include a Hispanic law student scholarship program, a one-day law school examination course for college students, public forums educating the Spanish speaking public on various areas of the law, an annual banquet honoring the Presidents of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association, as well as many other programs. As we face the challenges of the twenty-first century, we welcome the opportunity to partner with our diverse membership to provide resources, benefits and ideas for our members. If you are a new member, we welcome you to this preeminent group. If you are a present member, we express our gratitude for your past efforts and present contributions that have allowed the Hispanic Bar Association to become an eminent association within the Houston legal profession and the Hispanic community.
